Ordered a christmas dinner takeaway pack (smaller one feeds 4 - 6). Collected christmas eve!
It was amazing!! Instructions were super easy and spot on. Turkey turned out delicious.
Will definitely be returning next year!

Have come for brunch a good few times and always had a great experience. The food is delicious and good portion sizes. Drinks are great too. Staff are friendly and helpful and the place is really nice and cosy.

Great meal, friendly and attentive staff and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere. We were the last ones out but was never out under pressure to leave.

The food was 5 star rating it was worth coming from Sheffield England 4 empty plates, the staff are lovely and every little thing from the veiw to the cup of tea was just a pleasure.
Our visit was a surprise a very grand one thankyou .

When it came to celebrating 🍾 my 60th birthday 🎂 , there was only one place that I wanted to dine out. We used to be massive fans of The Pitsligo Arms in New Pitsligo, and the Knowes Hotel is the only place that's came remotely close to filling that void. Their food is exceptionally good, and the venue is excellent. It's my goto place these days. 👍🏻😁👍🏻

I can not praise The Knowes staff enough. We booked a table for 8, but 9 of us actually came, and they quickly added an extra place. They also decorated the table with pre bought items for my girls' graduation, without fuss, and finally presented her with a cake I provided and was happy for us to eat it there. The food was amazing, really good quality and nicely presented. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and I will definitely come back and recommend 👌 👍

Didn't stop at hotel but had dinner there they stop serving at 2 o'clock we got there about 1.45 didn't think they would serve us but did get us a table.Service very good couldn't of been more helpful. Then the food ,well what to say about that 4 adults all had a club sandwich and oh my goodness it was the best food ,every one of us thought it was so tasty. THANKYOU very much .

We stayed at The Knowes Hotel on 22nd May 2024 and had a great experience. I have a peddle assist cycle and was so pleased that I was allowed to charge it in the hotel.
Security of our two bikes is always a priority when booking anywhere and we always try to book out of town, this time we had to book in town, and we felt fully relaxed her.
You can always tell how good a hotel is by their staff and it is here that we were most impressed. We booked with Jess who was also there when we arrived, so helpful and friendly. Sarita was our waitress, such an amazing woman, and an excellent waitress. For breakfast we had friendly and helpful Alicia who was so efficient.
The room was excellent as was breakfast, we also had evening meals I had a fillet steak which was tough, BUT the wonderful thing was that it was changed without ant question and the replacement was PERFECT.
We would recommend The Knowes and stay there again.

Always enjoy the meals here and yesterday evening was no exception. Top quality, cooked to perfection, served competently. The prices reflect the high quality and are worth it. Need to book ahead as it is very popular particulalry at weekends. Great view across the bay. Only issue for me was that I was looking forward to a pint of Ice Breaker which was not on and no alternative, why not have some bottles available? We celebrated a birthday and we had a lovely time. We'll be back.

I have to say that having travelled and stayed in many hotels this hotel is up there with the best!....the staff in particular could not have been more brilliant !....(Hi Jess!) ....please say a massive thank you to all as the service and food was excellent....and I will definitely be back at some point.
